WEAVING SHUTTLES

ORIGIN
Designed to celebrate the process of weaving. Weaving shuttles are used to pass yarn through to create woven fabrics. These colorful versions seek to improve the time-tested design by drawing attention to this process.
PRODUCTION
- Designed on Rhino, rough cut on a CNC
- Finished by dyeing or by burning the surface of the wood
- The brass rod is hinged on a spring to stay closed while weaving

Beech or maple hardwood, brass, steel spring
